Are Café Play Dates the Office of the Future?

I enjoyed reading this article in Inc magazine: The Way I Work: Anne Wojcicki, 23andMe. It’s a lifestyle I aspire to have and, I believe, the workplace of the future. While being married to a billionaire probably helps Anne, I know many women, myself included, enjoy a variation of this type of work environment. Small businesses seem to be the first to adapt although more large corporations are realizing the benefits of having employees with balanced lives and inspiring locations to work in. As long as their work is getting done well, is there really any harm? What do you think – is this a positive or risky move for organizations to make?
